Old Michaels was great. The new thing they have been doing with the no show prices was sketchy but now they show a price but everything is 6 times the price it used to be. I bought a cheap little branch bird house decor for 8 dollars last year, just went in today since then and that exact birdhouse is now 59.99. Little garland decor that wad 12 is now 40 and so on. Wife and i walked in today and just walked out appalled by the prices about 10 minutes later. Personally I am never going again

Sioux City Michaels is an absolute mess. Wish I could give 0 stars. Summary of my last few visits: * asked an employee where something was-she motioned to one entire side wall and said, “Somewhere over here and if not, it is somewhere over there” (motioned to ENTIRE store) then walked off. *overheard multiple sales associates bragging/laughing about how they were rude to a customer and “didn’t even care” *waited in line to buy balloons and the ONE cashier who could help ring them up (can’t do self check out for latex balloons) had no idea what she was doing so she asked another associate to help her. The other associate told her she would “help from afar” . I eventually had to ask if she had to use the folder titled “balloons” in front of her. The cashier then stood there and cracked jokes rather than ring up my other items, helped people in line behind me with questions, etc. once I was eventually rung up and the other associate started blowing up my balloons, I had to wait more while she struggled with the balloon machine, popped multiple mylars, and OBSESSED over the color of ribbon to use with each balloon. (Honestly got the impression she was on something as twitchy and all o

This is my go to place for yarn and fine art supplies. The staff are always super nice and it's never too packed that you can't around easily.

The various departments knew their job, and so much art was delayed in the last year prices are surprisingly good. If you take the time to listen to their advice, they can help you find exactly what you need. I love the place and go there for art when I need something special. Like a poster framed, or multi-shade sketching pencils.

They have some awesome deals on art supplies right now and you can usually find extra discounts on their website. Love and hate going to this place at the same time. Can literally find everything I need and end up leaving with everything I dont need as well lol.
